I did an early morning tour to see the seals & went out on one of the stand up paddle boards. It was really easy to use and you get a great view standing up. The seals were really playful, they swam around us and underneath us and didn't seem to want us to go.
Our tour guide even caught some squid while we were out on the water which we cooked later on the BBQ with our lunch.
Swan Valley Kayaking through the vineyards
Had a very relaxing afternoon kayaking along the Swan River past the vineyards in the Swan Valley. The pedal powered kayaks are really easy to use and I was able to take some great photos of the bird life along the banks of the river.
What a Fun Day
We were supposed to go to Lancelin Island as part of the tour but because of the strong winds the tour guide took us to a more sheltered spot at Moore River. The scenery was beautiful along the river and there was a rope attached to a tree going out over the water which was great fun.
Sandboarding at Lancelin was also great fun, we were all exhausted by the end of the day but we had a great time.
Whales and Camping under the Stars
We went down to Fitzgerald River National Park to see the whales. The first night we camped under the stars, sat around the camp fire and our tour guide told us some stories from the Aboriginal Dream Time.
In the morning we went to Point Ann and got to go paddle boarding and saw some Southern Right whales, they were amazing and we also saw a really cute seal.
